Las Terrazas

Las Terrazas is a small village in the Natural Reserve of the Municipality of Candelaria, Artemisa Province, Cuba. Located in the mountains of the Sierra del Rosario, it is a true eco-paradise and a prime example of sustainable tourism worldwide. Most of the food is produced by the village community itself. In 1984 UNESCO declared the area around the Sierra del Rosario with Las Terrazas a biosphere reserve. Here you will find a breathtaking variety of flora and fauna with lakes, rivers and waterfalls.
